Remember back in 2010 when there was the push for Cookie Monster to host SNL? We never got a full Cookie Monster-hosted episode, but the Sesame Street icon did make an appearance when Jeff Bridges hosted.
Cookie Monster and a bunch of his fellow Sesame Street Muppets joined the SNL writers’ room in a new video short that premiered on Monday.

There are a bunch of fantastic pairings in this video. Ashley Padilla and Elmo. (But definitely not Rocco.) Ashley Padilla and Grover. Sarah Sherman and the Two-Headed Monster. Wait ... is that a pair or a trio? The rules on whether the Two-Headed Monster is one or two characters are murky.
Anyone else a bit uncomfortable with Elmo knowing about the Domingo sketches, though?
