Hello! Welcome to The Box Office Report for the weekend of Oct. 23-25, 2026.

1. Clayface

Weekend gross: $24M
Total domestic gross: $24M
Last weekend: New release
Percent drop: NA

The good news for Clayface? It returned the DCU to the No. 1 spot at the box office after Supergirl opened at No. 2 behind Toy Story 5 back in June. But the bad news is that the James Gunn-led superhero cinematic universe continues to trend downward with its opening weekends.

After Superman debuted with a $125 million weekend in 2025, Supergirl could only muster up a $37.1 million opener this past summer. Yes, Clayface was playing with different math than Superman and Supergirl — it had a lower budget and was working with an R-rating — but those factors haven’t stopped other superhero movies from notching massive box office hauls.

The DCU is on break until Man of Tomorrow hits theaters next July. Will Gunn’s next movie fly back to the heights that Superman debuted with? Or have Supergirl and Clayface established a downward trend that’ll keep going next summer?

2. You Can See Everything

Weekend gross: $19.5M
Total domestic gross: $45.1M
Last weekend: 2nd
Percent increase: 25

You Can See Everything saw a significant expansion this weekend, shifting from 855 theaters to 2,655 theaters. (That’s still a considerable amount behind the 3,458 theaters that Clayface played in this weekend.) The Elizabeth Holmes documentary continues to play big, adding $19.5 million to its domestic total.

3. Wildwood

Weekend gross: $11M
Total domestic gross: $11M
Last weekend: New release
Percent drop: NA

It’s been seven years since Laika released a film. The stop-motion animation studio was finally back this weekend with Wildwood. The film saw a slight improvement over the studio’s previous film, Missing Link, which opened at No. 9 with $5.9 million in 2019.

Wildwood’s $11 million opening weekend is pretty much in line with Laika’s non-Missing Link debuts: The Boxtrolls ($17.3 million), Coraline ($16.8 million), ParaNorman ($14.1 million) and Kubo and the Two Strings ($12.6 million).

4. Street Fighter

Weekend gross: $8.6M
Total domestic gross: $46.9M
Last weekend: 1st
Percent drop: 72

The new Street Fighter has now outdueled 1994’s Street Fighter, facing down a 72 percent weekend-to-weekend drop to bring its domestic total up to $46.9 million, more than enough to pass the original film’s $33.4 million haul.

5. Wicker

Weekend gross: $5.8M
Total domestic gross: $5.8M
Last weekend: New release
Percent drop: NA

Ah, yes, Wicker. The film that inspired headlines like “What Would Happen If You Had Sex With a Wicker Dick?” I’m serious. That’s a real headline. Despite playing in only 1,471 theaters, the romantasy film cracked the top five this weekend, earning a respectable $3,909 per theater.
