Dill Pickle Oreos are real. And I ate them.

If you were on social media on April 1, you hopefully knew to not believe any news that sounded even a tiny bit absurd. April 1, after all, is April Fool’s Day, a holiday that has evolved from “let’s play a funny prank” to “let’s lie on the Internet.” (If you’re on Instagram, that platform’s algorithm is probably still serving you up stories from April Fool’s Day.) But it turned out one of those bits of “too ridiculous to be true” bits of news was actually real. That’s how I found myself staring down a package of Oreo Dill Pickle Flavored Fudge Cookies on Wednesday.

Can you handle Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed?

It turns out there’s a very vocal group of Pop-Tarts fans who love the toaster pastry ... but want more filling. The standard Pop-Tarts with their normal amount of filling just isn’t enough for these folks. I’m glad enough people made this quest their mission until Pop-Tarts finally gave them what they wanted, because now the world can enjoy Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed. This new Pop-Tarts lineup boast 50 percent more filling than their normal counterparts. They’re beginning to hit stores this month, available in Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed Strawberry Blast, Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed Molten Lava Cake and Pop-Tarts Super Stuffed Cinnamon Caramel.

Colman Domingo sets the perfect vibe for ‘SNL’

If I ever host SNL, I hope I have the confidence of Colman Domingo. The Euphoria star breezed through his SNL debut, making easy work of a task that has tripped up several hosts this season. Colman had the SNL writing staff on his side this week, getting to work with oddball sketches like “Grandpa’s Wake” and “What If I Told You.” There have been a few moments during Season 51 when the writing on the show didn’t meet the moment, but SNL wasn’t short on, um, creative ideas for Colman’s episode.

Animation should be the future of ‘Star Wars’ movies

I haven’t caught up with this week’s episode of Maul: Shadow Lord yet, but I was incredibly impressed with the first two installments of Lucasfilm’s latest animated series. There’s more atmosphere and better cinematography in those two episodes alone than in anything I’ve seen for The Mandalorian and Grogu. Here’s my wild pitch: Lucasfilm should be putting animated Star Wars movies into theaters.
