The product: Oreo Ghosts
The cost: I paid $6.99 for a 7 oz. bag at Walgreens

It’s not easy to invent a new candy. (Unless you’re the folks who willed Nerds Gummy Clusters into the world.) Confectionery scientists have pretty much checked off all the boxes over the past century of American trick-or-treating.
But what if you took the magic of an Oreo cookie ... and turned it into a candy of its own?
Oreo Ghosts are new to Halloween seasonal aisles this year, and — oh boy — are they fantastic. Like Oreo Puffs cereal, Oreo Ghosts are reportedly made with the elements of a real Oreo. Cookie pieces are mixed in with a dark chocolate shell, and that shell wraps around crème-flavored filling. The dark chocolate is rich but not bitter, and the shell’s bite gives just enough resistance before you chomp into the center.
The best part? They’re tiny, so you’re gonna have to eat more than one.
