The year of dill pickle and the age of Meatology collide in this latest review.
America is going crazy with Meatology fever. First it was new bacon and hot dogs. Then there were more hot dogs. Then meat sticks. Then even more meat sticks. The people are clamoring for new reviews of meat-based products from Snackology. And I’m here to give them what they want.
Let’s try some Hormel Pepperoni Snack Bites.
“Whether it’s a mid-afternoon craving, a quick bite before heading out or a late-night treat, Hormel Pepperoni Snack Bites are designed for the moments when people aren’t looking for a meal — they’re looking for something to tide them over,” Hormel Pepperoni brand manager Rhonda Ihrke said in the company’s announcement. “Our new snack bites are easy to grab and made for the moments when you just need something that satisfies your hunger.”
Hormel Pepperoni Snack Bites are available in three flavors: Original, Parmesan and Dill Pickle. You ready to get your pepperoni on?

Hormel Pepperoni Snack Bites. / Snackology
I love a pepperoni snack. There’s nothing like sitting down and casually eating a sleeve of crackers, a block of cheese and a package of pepperoni, right? If you’ve invited me over and put out any combo of that mix of snacks, I’m going to post up at your counter and probably finish off your hors d’oeuvres.
As I, um, researched this edition of Snackology, I often found myself absent-mindedly popping pepperoni after pepperoni into my mouth from whatever flavor of Hormel Pepperoni Snack Bites was next to me on the couch. I’m gonna blame this pepperoni format being a touch smaller than your normal slice of Hormel pepperoni.
Thanks to Snack Bites being considerably thicker, though, they deliver a substantial bite as you chow down on them. (I think they’re even thicker than cup pepperoni, but I haven’t used them on any food that would heat them up.)
The Original Flavor is your classic pepperoni. Parmesan is a bit smoother. And then Dill Pickle? Well, if you’ve been reading Snackology this year, you know that we’re living in the age of dill pickle. (You can enjoy this flavor as a cracker, a beer or even a cookie.) Of all the dill pickle-flavored snacks I’ve reviewed, the Dill Pickle version of Hormel Pepperoni Snack Bites is the mildest of them all.
Hormel Pepperoni Snack Bites were provided to Snackology for this independent review.
