If you’ve watched any of the three seasons of The Mandalorian ... or a handful of episodes from The Book of Boba Fett ... or even pretty much any trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu, you know that Grogu — the tiny green creature we once all called “Baby Yoda” — loves to eat.
Which makes The Mandalorian and Grogu, the upcoming Star Wars movie hitting theaters later this month, an excellent bit of pop culture for some food-based promos. While Burger King is carrying the bulk of this crossover, Nabisco is getting in on the galactic action too with Grogu Nilla Nummies.
“Nilla has been a beloved cookie across generations, creating joyful, shareable moments," Caroline Suppiger, brand manager at Nilla, said in the company’s announcement. “This collaboration allows us to celebrate Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu in a fun and unexpected way by bringing a memorable on-screen moment to life — giving fans a delicious way to connect with Grogu as they head into theaters to experience the all-new film.”
Grogu Nilla Nummies are smaller Nilla Wafers that have a blueish-greenish hue. I’m not sure if the color comes from the blue milk Luke Skywalker was drinking on Tatooine ... or the green milk he was drinking on Ahch-To ...
