Pepsi finds its own holiday flavor with Vanilla & Cream
Pepsi Vanilla & Cream is smooth. But is it smoother than Coke’s own seasonal flavor?

It’s (almost) the holiday season, and Pepsi has a new limited-edition flavor. After bringing back Pepsi Wild Cherry & Cream last December, the soda giant has released Pepsi Vanilla & Cream this month.
“Pepsi has always known how to make great-tasting cola even more exciting, and our newest flavors are the latest example,” Gustavo Reyna, vice president of marketing at Pepsi, said in the company’s announcement. “If you’re looking to indulge in a little treat this season, Pepsi Vanilla & Cream brings rich vanilla and smooth cream flavors to the unmistakable taste of Pepsi for something that feels nostalgic, new and undeniably delicious.”
A cola with vanilla and cream flavors released around the holidays? If you’re a longtime Snackology reader, that one sure feels familiar.
Pepsi Vanilla & Cream will be available in 20 oz. bottles and 12-packs of cans. Expect this holiday flavor to cost the same as any regular version of Pepsi.

The concept of the cola companies copying each other is nothing new. Everyone has a cherry cola. Everyone has (at some times) a vanilla cola. But it feels like a rare moment when both Pepsi and Coke have their own takes on a vanilla/cream cola that just so happens to also have holiday branding.
Coke introduced this one last year with Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla, a soda that was so great that Snackology named it its best new soda of 2025.
When Pepsi Wild Cherry & Cream returned last winter, I gave it a 3 out of 5 Snack Score. I stand by that review a year later. It’s an OK soda, but there’s something off with its taste profile.
Pepsi Vanilla & Cream is a much more natural soda. I tested the non-diet version and found it super sugary. I liked the zero sugar version. In classic Pepsi-versus-Coke fashion, Pepsi Vanilla & Cream is sharper than the smooth notes of a Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla.
Your preference here is likely going to come down to where your allegiance lies between Pepsi and Coke. If your taste buds are primed for Pepsi, Pepsi Vanilla & Cream should be right up your alley.
