Poppi Sour Apple. / Snackology
It might be pumpkin spice season, but Snackology continues to advocate for a shift to apple and/or apple cider as the flavor of fall. (Planters is on board.) And while I don’t think Poppi released Poppi Sour Apple as a limited-edition fall flavor, the timing is perfect.
“Don’t let it fool you … This limited-edition Sour Apple soda might be sweet, but it defff has a bite,” Poppi writes of this flavor on its website. “Deliciously tart with a sour kick, it’s the twist your taste buds didn’t see coming.”
Poppi Sour Apple is sour. But it’s not sour in a way that isn’t enjoyable, with its tartness coming on the back end. If I’m choosing between apple-flavored prebiotic sodas, I’m still going with Olipop Crisp Apple. (Olipop Caramel Apple is also much more autumnal than Sour Apple.)
