Mountain Dew and Trolli are back at it with a new limited-edition soda

What a year it’s been for Snackology and Mountain Dew. We kicked things off with the return of Mountain Dew Baja Cabo Citrus in January. We were tempted by Dirty Mountain Dew Zero Sugar in the spring. We embraced our patriotism with the Mountain Dew America Variety Pack. We celebrated Baja Blast’s 22nd birthday with Mountain Dew Baja Leo Zero Sugar just a few weeks ago. And we even ranked the entire roster of Zero Sugar flavors that I had in my home.

The Mountain Dew news keeps coming, with Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch hitting stores as you read this review.

“Last year’s Mountain Dew and Trolli collaboration showed just how much excitement there is when two iconic brands come together in an unexpected way,” Michael Smith, vice president of marketing for Mountain Dew, said in PepsiCo’s announcement of the new flavor. “This year, we’re taking that idea even further with a sweet-and-spicy flavor twist that taps into a growing consumer trend while delivering the bold, one-of-a-kind experience fans expect from both brands.”

Yes, Mountain Dew and Trolli are getting back together. We first saw them partner last year with Mountain Dew Zero Sugar x Trolli Cherry Lemon and Trolli x Mountain Dew Sour Brite Crawlers. There are two big changes to their collab for 2026: The first is that this flavor of Mountain Dew is available in regular and Zero Sugar after last year’s partnership was Zero Sugar only. The second change is that Trolli’s half of the collab isn’t Mountain Dew themed. It’s the Trolli Spicy Crawlers that Snackology covered in July.

The cost

Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch will be priced the same as any normal flavor of Mountain Dew. Walmart briefly had the Mountain Dew x Trolli: Sweet & Spicy Bundle available for $8, but that one sold out almost instantly. A fun twist to this flavor is that 20 oz. bottles will also be available at Pizza Hut. After you get your free Book It! pizza, you can grab a bottle of Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch.
