Are Vampire Noodles good enough to die for?
They’re spicy. They’re spooky. These noodles are so tasty that vampires might risk the threat of garlic to sink their fangs into them.

Thanks to Cup Noodles, I’m hypothetically living the high life in a dorm stocked with plenty of Cup Noodles, an electric kettle and a rapid egg cooker. (In reality, I’m 40 and sitting on a sofa my wife and I bought from Ashley Furniture.) This Halloween, I’m going to take that hypothetical dorm to a frightful new level with Cup Noodles Vampire Noodles.
“Halloween is the perfect moment to create something unexpected, and Vampire Noodles does exactly that,” Priscila Stanton, senior vice president of marketing at Nissin, said in the company’s announcement. “The blood-red transformation and bold hot garlic flavor turn an everyday meal into a memorable Halloween experience. We’re giving fans a surprising new way to celebrate the season with Cup Noodles.”
As you probably guessed from their name, Vampire Noodles aren’t your standard variety of Cup Noodles. They’re spicy. They’re spooky. They turn red when water is added to them. And they’re garlic-flavored. Since that’s how you keep vampires away. Duh.

Cup Noodles Vampire Noodles are a Walmart exclusive, going for $1.18 per cup.
There’s also the Vampire Noodles x Titan Casket, which is “designed around the idea that Vampire Noodles are truly ‘to die for.’” That casket is available for $3,999.

Look at that little vampire. That dude very much wants to eat your Vampire Noodles. I assume he’s taking a break from the usual vampire diet and wants to try something a bit spicier.

The vampire is going to be in for a devastating surprise if he does get to sink his fangs into your cup of Vampire Noodles. “Garlic keeps vampires away!” the back of the package declares. “Our Hot Garlic Chicken flavor is the perfect snack to ward off any vampire lurking in the shadows.”
They’re spooky. But are they scary? (They’re definitely not a Werewolf Bar Mitzvah.) This review of Vampire Noodles is for Snackology+ and The Omnicosm+ subscribers. To read this edition of Snackology, please upgrade your membership or sign into your account.
