With little serious new competition this weekend, Venom: The Last Dance snagged another No. 1 finish. Great news for the movie, but this sequel has a long way to go before it matches its two predecessors.
Through three weekends, the original Venom was at $171.1 million and Venom: Let There Be Carnage was at $168.1 million. Those two movies finished with almost the exact same domestic gross — Venom with $213.5 million and Let There Be Carnage with $213.6 million.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is the biggest opening weekend for director Dallas Jenkins. After making (small) box office waves with The Chosen series, Jenkins cracked the $10 million debut mark with this adaptation starring Judy Greer and Pete Holmes.
