Oh, and both Godzilla Minus Zero and Nathan Fielder’s Elizabeth Holmes movie got R ratings. Not sure what Godzilla Minus Zero did to earn that distinction, but You Can See Everything comes with the “graphic nudity” disclaimer. I assume this won’t be an issue when I see Avengers: Endgame Encore at the massive Airbus IMAX this weekend.

Mark Hamill gets dangerous as Darkwing Duck

I did it. I made a new Darkwing Duck show happen. After Popculturology asked “where is the Terror That Flaps in the Night?” at the beginning of September, we got news this week that Disney+ is ready to get dangerous.

OK, so maybe this is the Darkwing Duck series that Seth Rogen and his buddies have had in the works since Disney canceled the DuckTales reboot, but the timing sure makes me look like I’m on top of things, huh?

For the last 35 years, Darkwing Duck has been trapped in his worst nightmare: an alternate world that’s never heard of his superhero exploits. Now a rebellious teen named Duckie who knows all about his heroic past shows up to pull this ego-fueled vigilante back into battle. Together, this unlikely duo will get dangerous to fight old enemies like Negaduck and Megavolt and reunite with allies Launchpad, Gosalyn and Morgana to save the entire universe.

As I covered earlier this month, Jim Cummings won’t be back as the voice of Darkwing Duck. And neither will Chris Diamantopoulos, who voiced the character in DuckTales. The Disney+ series is making a big swing when it comes to casting its title character, snagging Mark Hamill as the new voice of Darkwing Duck.
