The trio will kick off Season 51 starting on Oct. 4.
SNL announced its first three hosts and musical guests for Season 51, which kicks off on Oct. 4. The show didn’t check off any of the people I want to see asked back, but at least Lorne Michaels took my advice on who to not bring back.
Bad Bunny hosts on Oct. 4, Amy Poehler on Oct. 11 and Sabrina Carpenter on Oct. 18.
This will be Bad Bunny’s second time hosting, previously doing so on Oct. 21, 2023. This will be Poehler’s third time hosting, previously doing so on Sept, 25, 2010, and Dec. 19, 2015. This will be Carpenter’s first time hosting, even though she played a major role in SNL50 last season.
Doja Cat will be the musical guest for Bad Bunny’s episode and Role Model will follow for Poehler’s episode. Carpenter will pull double duty, serving as both host and musical guest in her episode.
