Cheetos Bag of Bones are back for Halloween

Cheetos Sweet Phantom Heat Puffs are the major new seasonal release for Cheetos this Halloween, but that limited-edition release is joined by the return of Cheetos Bag of Bones. The skeleton-shaped snack is back in both White Cheddar and Cinnamon Sugar varieties.

I somehow have never tried either flavor of Bag of Bones ... which is probably a good thing since the White Cheddar option is addictive. I found myself on multiple occasions having to tear myself away from this bag. I don’t normally go for the white cheddar versions of Cheetos, but there’s something about the crunchy skulls, ribcages and bones that makes Bag of Bones White Cheddar the perfect combination of flavor and texture.

🍪 About the Snack Score

It’s hard to live up to the standard set by Bag of Bones White Cheddar, but the Cinnamon Sugar option tries its best. I enjoyed this sweet take on these Halloween Cheetos. They kind of reminded me of Taco Bell’s Cinnamon Twists, which only got me wondering why Taco Bell and PepsiCo have never expanded the partnership that gave the world the Doritos Locos Taco to bring Cinnamon Twists into the chip aisle.
