The hype machine is definitely ramping up, with Ryan Gosling hosting SNL this weekend and Lego releasing the unexpected set based on the movie. While we wait for Project Hail Mary, Pixar latest (and weirdest?) movie hits theaters this weekend. Not only did I catch Hoppers last night, but it’s going to be our daughter’s first experience at the movies this weekend. Allegedly. She’s super excited about it, but there’s a good chance we get thirty seconds into Hoppers and we have to bail because it’s too loud ...

I caught Hoppers last night, accidentally buying a ticket for a 3D screening. (Whoops.) Thankfully having to wear a pair of flimsy RealD glasses over my real glasses didn’t distract from how wonderful Pixar’s latest film is.
