Who’s hosting?

It’s Ryan Gosling! With Project Hail Mary — a movie Popculturology is very excited to see — hitting theaters on March 20, it’s the perfect time for Gosling to return to SNL.

Have they hosted before?

This will be Gosling’s fourth time hosting SNL, previously anchoring the show on Dec. 5, 2015, Sept. 30, 2017 and April 13, 2024.

You might remember Gosling’s April 2024 hosting gig as the time a “Beavis and Butt-Head” sketch broke containment and went viral for weeks — months? — after Gosling broke and caused Heidi Gardner to break too. (This episode earned the No. 1 spot among Season 49 hosts.)

Who’s the musical guest?

Gorillaz will make their SNL debut.
