The Big Mac and Big Arch Burger go head to head

McDonald’s new Big Arch Burger is experiencing a viral moment that would make most new fast food releases jealous.

Yes, it’s because of the awkward video of McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski awkwardly eating the chain’s new premium burger, but that video — that sat quietly on Kempczinski’s Instagram page for almost a month — has allowed the Big Arch Burger to break into pop culture.

I even mentioned the video in Snackology’s review of the Big Arch Burger last week. It’s just a guy eating a burger! Of course it’s going to be weird. He’s an executive, not a social media influencer.

With the buzz surrounding the Big Arch Burger (and it being the most visited article on The Omnicosm over the past thirty days), I posted on Bluesky on Wednesday night that I was going to buy another Big Arch Burger and a Big Mac and pit them against each other.

And I’ve done exactly that.
