Hey there, Snackology readers. It’s been a very busy month both for the newsletter and in snack news. I’ve been drinking Mr. Pibb, eating Crunchwrap Sliders and trying ice cream flavors stuffed with gummi worms, brownies and birthday cake. (It’s been a good month.)

Major news broke on Tuesday as I was wrapping up this edition of Snack Chat: KPop Demon Hunters are heading to McDonald’s. Netflix and the fast food restaurant announced that the partnership will include two meals (The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal and The HUNTR/X Meal) in addition to The Derpy McFlurry. I love this.

KPop Demon Hunters has ignited an incredibly passionate global fandom, and we’re always looking for authentic ways to bring fans deeper into the worlds they love,” Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, said in the announcement. “With McDonald’s, we were able to turn the rivalry between The Saja Boys and HUNTR/X into something fans can actually experience, drawing inspiration from Korean culture and food traditions that sit at the heart of the film. From Ramyeon McShaker Fries to Demon sauces paired with Soda Pop, every detail was designed to feel like it could have come straight out of a scene in the movie.”

You can catch the Oscar-winning KPop Demon Hunters at McDonald’s beginning on March 31.

You ready to tear into the rest of this bag of snack news? (I promise it’s not half filled with air.)
