The Pepperidge Farm Autumn Exclusives Collection kicks off cookie season

September has only just begun, so I’ll admit that it’s probably a touch too early to start talking about cookie season. But what if the cookies in question were the trio of treats that make up this year’s Pepperidge Farm Autumn Exclusives Collection?

This is autumn we’re talking about, not the holidays, so we’re not going to go crazy with another EIGHT-cookie lineup like we did last December. This edition of Snackology is going to focus on two returning Pepperidge Farm favorites, Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake and Milano Pumpkin Spice; in addition to a new cookie in the Autumn Exclusives Collection, Chessmen Spiced Orange Cranberry.

I love the variety in this lineup. There’s not only pumpkin and pumpkin spice, but there’s also the added variety of spiced orange with cranberry in the mix. I’m a huge fan of any company going outside of the standard pumpkin spice lane for their autumnal releases. (Might I suggest readers give Planters Apple Cider Donut Cashews and Planters Maple Brown Sugar Almonds a try if they haven’t yet.)

The Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake cookies are absolutely fantastic. They’re soft. They have a bit of a chew to them. And they’re the perfect level of pumpkin. They’re not gimmicky. They’re not overbearing. The white chocolate chips are plentiful, making sure every bite of this soft cookie is packed with them.
