Burger King revamped its Chicken Nuggets. How long was too long to wait for them?

Remember back in 1998 when we somehow got dueling movies about space objects on course to collide with Earth and wipe out humanity? Well, that’s basically the same thing happening today with chicken nuggets.
For McDonald’s, Sept. 1 is the day when Spicy Chicken McNuggets officially return to menus. And for Burger King, today is the day the new BK Chicken Nuggets debut.
I picked up the McDonald’s Spicy Chicken McNuggets over the weekend, so this edition of Snackology is all about Burger King’s revamped nuggs.
“We take guest feedback seriously, and when we received thousands of texts, calls and comments telling us our nuggets needed a total overhaul, we listened,” Amy Alarcon, head chef at Burger King, said in the company’s announcement. “Our culinary team evaluated every element of the experience, from the chicken and breading to the sauces that bring it all together. Throughout the process, we invited real guests — including some of our toughest critics, kids — to test and refine the recipe, helping us create a nugget we believe delivers the quality, taste and experience that they have been asking for.”
Burger King also revamped its dipping sauces, focusing on the new Special Savory Sauce, Honey Mustard, Sweet & Sour and Buffalo.
