Well, this was a weird weekend at the box office. The lack of anything major opening paired with the Super Bowl consuming a ton of attention, the top five films this weekend saw only Send Help hit the $10 million mark (which could still get scaled back once final numbers hit on Monday).
Director Sam Raimi’s latest film held off several random new releases. (Seriously, I had to look up pretty much every movie in this edition of The Box Office Report.) I imagine the box office will see a significant bounce back next weekend with Wuthering Heights, Crime 101 and GOAT all making their debuts.

Oh, Kevin James made a new romcom? I was wondering what James was on The Tonight Show promoting this week. (This feels like the perfect time to bring up that Jimmy Fallon is somehow looking like he’s been deepfaked ... but in real life.) For comparison, Hitch opened with $43.1 million back in 2005.
