Is Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch remake creatively bankrupt? Yup. But is it also a box office hit? Also yup.

The film added another $63 million to its domestic haul this past weekend, easily bumping it up to the No. 2 spot for 2025, behind only A Minecraft Movie with $423 million.

The Lilo & Stitch remake has also outgrossed recent Disney live-action cash grabs like Snow White ($87.2 million) and Mufasa: The Lion King ($254.6 million).
