After a slight delay, nominations for the 97th Oscars have been announced.
Emilia Peréz, the French film starring Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón and Selena Gomez, topped the nominations in thirteen categories. The AI-assisted The Brutalist and the musical adaptation Wicked were close behind with ten nominations each. (The Wild Robot scored three nominations, but sadly not one for Best Picture.)
