Hello! Welcome to The Box Office Report for the weekend of Feb. 13-15, 2026.

1. “Wuthering Heights”

Weekend gross: $34.8M
Total domestic gross: $34.8M
Last weekend: New release
Percent drop: NA

“Wuthering Heights” easily captured the heart of moviegoers over Valentine’s Day weekend. Or at least their wallets. The $34.8 million grossed by “Wuthering Heights” this weekend is the biggest debut of Emerald Fennell’s directorial career — by far. Her past two projects have already been outgrossed by this take on Emily Brontë’s novel, with Saltburn topping out at $11.4 million domestic and Promising Young Woman settling at $6.4.

And while Margot Robbie has had a handful of bigger opening weekends — Barbie at $162 million, Suicide Squad at $133.7 million, Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood at $41.1 million, The Legend of Tarzan at $38.5 million — “Wuthering Heights” is by far Jacob Elordi’s biggest debut. What do we think Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein would have made had Netflix given it a proper theatrical release?

2. GOAT

Weekend gross: $26M
Total domestic gross: $26M
Last weekend: New release
Percent drop: NA

GOAT hasn’t really been on my radar, but the animation style — done in a similar fashion to Sony Pictures Animation’s work on the Spider-Verse movies and KPop Demon Hunters — did catch my eye. It’s nice to see an animated movie not only get good reviews but also capture the No. 2 spot with a health opening weekend of $26 million.
