After the absolute dud that we got last week when **Finn Wolfhard** hosted, the *One Battle After Another* and *The Rip* star brought a billion percent more personality to *SNL* than we got from the show’s *Stranger Things* heavy episode last weekend. Taylor was a spark, infusing her roles with vibrance. When she was on screen, *SNL* pulled itself up to her level. This was her episode, fully in control any time she was in a sketch, no matter what her role was. It was a heavy night to air a new episode, but Taylor nailed everything the show asked her to do. Heat. Pretty neat. McDonald’s nails its new Hot Honey Sauce. I was at the grocery store the other day, and I heard someone say to the person they were shopping with: “Why would I buy hot honey? I have honey and I have red pepper flakes at home.” OK, sure. You could apply that logic to anything. Why would I buy Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups when I have a bag of chocolate chips and a jar of peanut butter at home? While that random shopper might not want to invest in one of the many fantastic hot honeys that are available on store shelves these days, I’m more than happy to give one of these premade hot honeys a shot. (Because it’s basically ubiquitous these days, my go-to is Mike’s Hot Honey, but I’ve also tried Nugget Honey, the hot honey from the folks behind Hot Ones.) McDonald’s knows that hot honey is what people are buzzing about these days. Taco Bell already partnered with Mike’s last may for its Mike’s Hot Honey Diablo Sauce, and most pizza places even offer hot honey as a topping, and now the Golden Arches is rolling out its own **Hot Honey Sauce**. One of my favorite Mountain Dew releases from 2025 has begun making its appearances as it returns to stores this year. **Mountain Dew Baja Cabo Citrus** came and went before I had a chance to pick up another 12-pack last May, so I’m thrilled that Pepsi has brought it back. (I’m obviously picking up the Zero Sugar version.) Mountain Dew Baja Cabo Citrus must’ve been super popular when it was first released. Not only was it impossible to find shortly after it hit shelves, but Pepsi bringing it back seems to be a vote of confidence. Mountain Dew’s Baja Blast line is an iconic hit, with the main flavor breaking free of its Taco Bell exclusivity while the fast food chain continues to innovate with new variations like Mountain Dew Baja Midnight. I’m old enough to remember a time when superheroes — especially Marvel superheroes — were related to comic books and the occasional animated series. Sure, if you were Superman or Batman, you got a few movies. Then the successive hits of Guillermo del Toro’s *Blade*, Bryan Singer’s *X-Men* and finally Sam Raimi’s *Spider-Man*turned superheroes into box office staples. Fast forward to 2008 when the fledgling Marvel Studios was on the verge of releasing Iron Man.
