# Impression pro Chloe Fineman makes a ‘Rundown’ selection

Well, this is a surprise. Since launching *The Rundown* in March, NBC has been dropping a new episode of the digital series every Wednesday when there wasn’t an *SNL* episode to promote. Just a few hours ago, we got [a promo for **Will Ferrell**’s episode](https://www.theomnicosm.com/the-cold-open-snl-will-ferrell-host-promo/) this weekend, which also featured **Sarah Sherman** and **Chloe Fineman**.

And now we have a new episode of *The Rundown* where Fineman picks the all-time impression sketch for a perfect episode of *SNL*.

It’s been interesting to see how the different folks featured in The Rundown approach the process. Sometimes you get [**Colin Jost**](https://www.theomnicosm.com/the-cold-open-snl-rundown-colin-jost/) or [**Mikey Day** and **Streeter Seidell**](https://www.theomnicosm.com/the-cold-open-snl-mikey-day-streeter-seidell-rundown/)who do a deep dives into *SNL*’s history beyond their own contributions to the show. Showtimes you get[**Dana Carvey**](https://www.theomnicosm.com/the-cold-open-snl-the-rundown-dana-carvey/) who just picked one of his own sketches.

Fineman seemed to be veering into the latter category, focusing heavily on the impression work she’s done during her *SNL* career. At the end, though, she course corrected and picked a sketch from **Kristen Wiig**, an *SNL* legend.
