We’d always have a bottle on hand during the holidays to open while we were sitting around the kitchen table playing Skip-Bo, Phase 10 or another card game that was likely to devolve into my youngest brother doing whatever he could to derail my chances of winning. While sparkling grape juice was eventually replaced by its more mature sibling, wine, along with beer, the classy beverage remains a part of our core memories. This taste test was the third time our daughter has had sparkling grape juice.
