We first got this cookie flavor last year, and it seems that it was a big enough success for Oreo to immediately bring it back instead of making fans wait a few years for another chance to enjoy it. You might also notice that this edition of **Snackology** is under a new “Second Helping” category. I’ve revamped the “Classics” section to make it more clear that we’re returning to a previously released item. No, those would’ve been missing the apple component.* *It finally hit me: The old-school apple cinnamon Quaker oatmeal. The kind that had the freeze-dried bits of apple that would come to life when you poured hot water over the contents from those paper packets.* *What a throwback.* ### Any new thoughts? This is still an excellent Oreo flavor. The apple flavor continues to brightly shine through in each cookie. This isn’t as easy a move to successfully pull off, it turns out.
