One of those tricks that’ll pretty much always pull me in? Putting a cute cartoon character on a label or package. Cute cartoon characters have led to me [to pick up Gleezy Carolina Dog Sauce](https://www.theomnicosm.com/snackology-review-oscar-mayer-bacon-hot-dogs/) and [fall in love with Local Style Potato Chips](https://www.theomnicosm.com/snackology-review-local-style-potato-chips/). They’re also what convinced me to replace the olive oil in our kitchen with Graza. The company’s delightful labels are why we now have Sizzle and Drizzle on our counter and [a bottle of their Fancy Mayo in the fridge](https://www.theomnicosm.com/snackology-food-finds-may-3/). (I’m honestly not sure why my wife lets me do the grocery shopping. I think it’s because I’m really good with coupons and sales.) **Graza Homestyle Potato Chips** went live this month, with four flavors hitting Target shelves. The four flavors in the initial lineup range from traditional (Classic Sea Salt and Sea Salt & Vinegar) to a twist on a classic (Hot ’N Sweet) to wildly innovative (Zesty Caesar). Graza isn’t kidding when they say they use “yellow flesh potatoes.” That move leads to a more potato-y potato chip. I found the salt level of the Classic Sea Salt potato chips to be pretty fair. But Graza’s take on the classic flavor really works for me. The company’s use of “red wine vinegar seasoning (made from real red wine vinegar!)” might be the difference? They’re super tasty, but they’re also super hot. And I’m not talking “Flamin’ Hot Cheetos hot.” Graza used “our signature Datil Chile Pepper spice blend” to kick up the spice levels on these chips. If you’re looking for a flavor that’s closer to a hot honey mix of sweet and heat, you should skip Graza’s take on a hot chip. BUY THESE CHIPS. Seriously. There’s nothing I love better than picking up a new snack for **Snackology** and being completely surprised by how wonderful it is. What Graza did with its Zesty Caesar chips is simple. Maybe another chip company has thought of adding a “bold \[and\] zesty ‘Caesar’ spice blend” to a bag of potato chips before, but this is the first time I’ve encountered the flavor. They’re perfect. After trying each flavor for this review, I returned to the Zesty Caesar bag and brought it to the couch while I watched TV.
