[The Simply NKD line of chips](https://www.theomnicosm.com/do-the-simply-nkd-versions-of-cheetos-and-doritos-still-pack-the-flavorful-punch-we-love/) included Doritos Simply NKD Nacho Cheese ... and I wasn’t impressed by how the flavor held up without those artificial colors and flavors. Doritos Protein Nacho Cheese fares slightly better than the Simply NKD version. The iconic nacho cheese flavor in these chips is much closer to what you’d expect from a regular bag of Doritos. (Yes, you’re going to have some protein-y Doritos dust on your fingers.) Doritos Protein Nacho Cheese, which is joined by Doritos Protein Sweet & Tangy BBQ as the first two launches in this line, has a texture that reminds me of Baked! Doritos.
