With the holidays quickly approaching, Post is rolling out **Candy Cane Oreo Puffs**. “Putting a candy cane twist on breakfast,” Candy Cane Oreo Puffs swap out the cereal’s standard marshmallow bits for peppermint marshmallows. We recently saw holiday [versions of Cocoa Pebbles and Fruity Pebbles that had marshmallows](https://www.theomnicosm.com/snackology-review-naughty-nice-pebbles/) added to give them a festive twist. My grocery store weirdly doesn’t carry Oreo Puffs, but (often at our daughter’s urging) I’ve picked them up at Target. You can’t go wrong with a cereal made from Oreo cookies. Whatever flavor marshmallows you add to the mix are a bonus, and the peppermint marshmallows in Candy Cane Oreo Puffs are a fun touch. They could be even more pepperminty, though. It’s Christmas. Go crazy, Post. I have a hunch that Candy Cane Oreo Puffs would be a fantastic substitute for Rice Krispies in a marshmallow treats setup.
