When news broke on Thursday that KFC was [switching soda providers from Pepsi to Coca-Cola beginning in January](file:///The%20Coca-Cola%20Company%20and%20KFC%20Announce%20New%20U.S.%20Beverage%20Partnership), the world wanted to know what would happen to combo KFC/Taco Bell locations. Would Taco Bell switch to Coca-Cola too? That would mean there would be Taco Bell locations without the chain’s iconic Mountain Dew Baja Blast.

It turns out Coca-Cola and Pepsi will service combination KFC/Taco Bell restaurants, a KFC representative tells **Snackology**.

How will this work? Will the combo locations operate two fully separate soda machines? If you’ve ever been to a KFC/Taco Bell, there’s no division of drinks. Will you be able to order a Coke Zero with your Crunchwrap? A Baja Blast with your Famous Bowl?

Truly an unprecedented time in the world of fast-food soda options.
