We’re less than two months from the epic clash between *Dune: Part Three* and *Avengers: Doomsday*. Buzz around both films continues to escalate, and a new trailer for the third *Dune* movie released on Tuesday should only amp up that excitement.

I rewatched *Dune: Part One* and *Dune: Part Two* over the weekend, so I’m fully hyped. Seeing how **Denis Villeneuve** has built up this story and how **Timothée Chalamet** has evolved in the role of Paul Atreides is remarkably impressive.

Will *Dune: Part Three* beat *Avengers: Doomsday* over their shared release weekend? I think *Doomsday* has the upper hand there. But I would not be surprised if *Dune* gives the latest *Avengers* movie a run for its money the following weekend.
