We’re heading into the middle episode of *SNL*’s trio of pre-Christmas installments this weekend, with *Wake Up Dead Man* star **Josh O’Connor** making his hosting debut. O’Connor’s been around for a bit, appearing in projects like *The Crown* and *Challengers*, but I really don’t know enough about him to predict how he’ll do as a host. 

And congrats to **Kam Patterson** for scoring as much screen time in this promo as he got in the entirety of [**Melissa McCarthy**’s episode last weekend](https://www.theomnicosm.com/snl-gives-us-melissa-mccarthy-as-host-for-her-6th-time-takes-us-to-cousin-planet/).
